Thank you for joining us for the Community Table Thanksgiving Initiative.
Your voucher gives you access to a free Thanksgiving turkey for your family this holiday season.
This initiative reflects our belief that a meal of thanks should never be a privilege. It is a right every family deserves.
Turkey Pickup Information

Time: 12 PM to 8 PM
Location: Distrito Catorce
Please bring your voucher with you to redeem your turkey.
These turkeys are provided through the partnership and support of Councilmember Ysabel Jurado, CD14, The Vezbi Foundation, Northgate Market, Distrito Catorce, and the Boyle Heights Bridge Runners. We thank each partner for helping make this possible for our community.
Why We Do This
The Community Table Food Program was created with one purpose:
to make sure no family in our neighborhood ever feels alone in their struggle to access food.
Over the past year our community has faced real challenges.
Local residents, families with children, and our elders have felt the impact of recent LA raids and the loss of food distribution programs. Many are afraid or unable to travel for basic necessities.
In moments like these, we step in together.
This year we secured 500 turkeys and are working to complete each meal so families in our community can sit together, give thanks, and enjoy a warm meal at home.
This is more than food.
This is dignity, comfort, culture, and community.
Who We Are
The Vezbi Foundation is a community rooted nonprofit that believes in the power of unity and shared responsibility.
Through art, food, mentorship, and cultural initiatives, we work every day to uplift families and bring resources where they are needed most.
At Distrito Catorce, we host ongoing food distribution bag programs, providing weekly and monthly support to families in partnership with neighbors, volunteers, and local organizations.
We do this consistently and quietly, because the work matters and the people matter even more.
Our Ongoing Impact
The Community Table Food Program continues to grow.
We are committed to expanding our food support initiatives throughout Boyle Heights and beyond.
We have larger plans underway to increase the number of families we can help, enhance food access, and create consistent support systems throughout the year.
Some of these programs are already in development, and although we cannot share the details just yet, we are excited for what is coming.
Our goal is simple:
No family left behind. No neighbor forgotten. Food on every table.
