You’re Invited to the

The Vezbi Foundation Holiday Gala

December 10, 2025 | Monarch Studios | Doors open at 6 PM

Over the past three years, many of you have joined us at our annual holiday fundraiser dinners at Distrito Catorce. Because of that support and belief in what we’ve been building, the Vezbi Foundation is now officially a 501(c)(3) nonprofit and we’re stepping into 2026 stronger than ever.

This year, we’re proud to introduce something bigger:
The Vezbi Foundation Holiday Gala
A night to celebrate growth, community, culture, and compassion  all while supporting the people and programs that matter most to us.

The Evening Experience

The night begins with a lively cocktail hour on the outdoor patio of Monarch Studios, where guests will enjoy bite-sized tasting samples prepared by five incredibly talented chefs:

Chef Juan Chan | Chef Emmanuel Nunez | Chef Alan Ramirez | Chef Benjamin Udave | Chef Jimmy Reyes

Guests will also have the opportunity to participate in our silent auction, which features original artwork and one-of-a-kind items donated by our community of artists and partners.

From there, we move indoors for our main event  a beautifully curated seated dinner from Chef Jonathan Perez, Culinary Director of Distrito Catorce and founder of Macheen, with Chef Ramses as Sous Chef.

Each guest will choose one of two unforgettable main courses:

  • Ossobuco – Risotto A la Mexicana | Gremolata | Braised Beef Shank
  • Sea Bass – Chile Pasilla Beurre Blanc | Heirloom Vegetables

Where Your Support Goes

This Gala is more than a celebration. It’s how we raise the funds to do what we love  and why we’re inviting you to be part of it.

Proceeds will help us continue to support the children of Colina De Luz Orphanage in Tijuana, Mexico  providing holiday meals, gifts, essentials, and year-round care and will power the next chapter of our work through the Vezbi Foundation.

With your help, we will expand our 2026 programming, including:

  • Culinary Arts & Mentorship — Training the next generation of chefs to work in high-end kitchens and events, guided by Chef Jonathan Perez and his team
  • Visual Arts & Storytelling — Workshops in visual, digital, and print media that give youth the tools to express themselves and share their voice
  • The Community Table — Our food equity initiative, increasing the number of community members we serve through monthly food distribution at Distrito Catorce
  • Youth Empowerment & Life Skills — Programs focused on emotional intelligence, confidence, and self-sustainability for tomorrow’s leaders

And that’s just the beginning.

Our newest initiative, Vivid Steps, will transform city intersections into permanent, community-designed artworks starting December 14 at 1st & Vicente Fernandez Street. From there, we’re setting our sights on MacArthur Park and beyond, with the 2028 Olympics on the horizon.

Each ticket sold, each auction item donated, and each act of support helps carry us forward.

Let’s make this season matter

Every guest is invited to bring an unwrapped toy to place under our holiday tree  all of which will be hand-delivered to the children of Colina De Luz before Christmas.

If you’d like to contribute an item to our silent auction or guest gift bags, we’d love to hear from you.

Join us for an unforgettable night.

Celebrate the holidays, support the community, and help us build something beautiful for 2026 and beyond.

Reserve your seat or table today through Zeffy, our official nonprofit fundraising platform.

Can’t attend the Gala?

You can still make a difference.
Your donation will help support the children of Colina De Luz and allow the Vezbi Foundation to grow its impact in 2026 through community programs in food access, arts, and youth mentorship.

Every contribution brings us closer to a stronger, more connected future.
